To the glory of God

Life is lived in Jesus,

In His righteousness,

Always led by the Spirit,

Your unity being essential.

We succeed in holiness

Only by living in Jesus,

The living Word of God in us,

Here amongst us to richly bless us.

“ ‘Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand’.” (Isaiah 41 v 10)

The Lord Jesus’ teaching becomes seed,

Rich seed for us to sow,

As we possess the Spirit of holiness and grow.

The Spirit makes Jesus’ teaching

Real to appeal to us.

The seed is full of graces

Able to give a very rich harvest

When planted in productive soil,

A heart ready to live in Jesus.

“We proclaim Your death O Lord, and profess Your resurrection until You come again.” (Stated during the celebration of Mass)

Trials and troubles are our testing ground,

Found to be effective when active in the Spirit.

A richer quality to life becomes ours

When we live in Jesus, for Him.

Our concerns are not to be wasted,

Suffering is turned by God,

Into something helping us to grow further.

Prayer is vital in this transformation;

Stating our confident expectation and hope.

“Having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.” (Romans 5 v 1, 2)

We trust in each and every aspect of God’s goodness,

We are called to take up our †.

And this is to be everyday

So we receive all the graces required,

To respond well, obediently, reverently.

Our life is immeasurably enriched

When through the Spirit, we live in Jesus,

All to the glory of God,

A triumphant work of the Almighty Trinity.

“He has chosen to reveal to all who are His among the nations, the glorious riches that are centred in this mystery that Christ has now come to live in you, and in Him alone is your hope of glory, now and for all eternity.” (Colossians 1 v 27 The Truth)

“This is why we speak only of Christ, encouraging, correcting and teaching every one with the wisdom He has given us, so that we can present everyone perfect in Christ. because they believed the gospel we proclaim. What a wonderful prospect!” (Colossians 1 v 28 The Truth)
